Hi everyone,

Unless I go jumping through an inordinate amount of hoops (which i don't especcially feel like ...), I cannot install anything on my computer at work, except scalar version of v6p0, which is extremely limiting, espicially as I cannot add Fortran files and use all 4 cores on the CPU.

So my idea was to install a version of Linux (most likely some Ubuntu distribution) on an external hard drive (using USB 3.0) and install Telamac on it. I've tested booting the computer out of the external hard under Linux and that part works.

But before I start trying to install Telemac, I was wondering if anyone ever tried pulling that move, and if so, what were the obstacles (if there were any), and how did you overcome them ?

Best Regards,

Martin
