Hi everyone,

I am having several problems trying to set to sediment diameters (one for suspended load and a different one to bed load).

Basically, i am trying to have a bed with a larger diameter to reduce the erosion effect on the bed (but not eliminated at all), i thought that i have could, however, i realized sisyphe just read the first class and not the second one indicated in the steering file. Is there any way to do this? In the manual is indicated that for non-uniform distribution for suspended sediment transport i have to set BED-LOAD=false, but i would like to be 100% sure this is not possible.

Please find attached my steering file for sisyphe, where you can see how i tried to do it.

Cheers,

José

You left out the line defining the number of classes in your cas file.

NUMBER OF SIZE-CLASSES OF BED MATERIAL = 2

Dear José,
At this moment, in Sisyphe you can't say (within the same simulation): I'd like particle(s) "X" behave(s) as bedload and particle(s) "Y" behave(s) as suspended transport. I'd be possible with some code modifications, being very careful in the way in which you deal with the transfer of "information" between both processes.
