open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi all

I am trying to couple telemac2d and sisyphe. The problem is I prescribed elevation boundary for telemac2d and able to see in fuda but for the same when I use it for sisyphe the elevation boundary is shown as solid boundary. And so hydrodynamics I am getting results and morphodynamics there is no change. So what is the problem here. Please help me

Well there is a boundary conditions file for Telemac-2D and one for Sisyphe, maybe for some reason they disagree...

In the Telemac-2D steering file you give a BOUNDARY CONDITIONS FILE, and in Sisyphe also. These 2 files are different but should however give the same liquid and the same solid boundaries, I suspect that there is a difference between these two files in that respect.

In example for sisyphe provided, in bar formation example, the same slf and cli is used for both telemac2d and sisyphe and fuda also shows the different boundary conditions (solid and liquid) there. But in my case it shows only solid for sisyphe.

The sisyphe boundary conditions for the bed are defined in the 9th abnd 10th collumn. If that value is 2, it is a closed boundary for sediment to use a fixed bed use:
5 4 4 0.000 0.000 0.000 0.000 5 0.000 0.000 0.000 1 1
for avariable bed level use:
5 4 4 0.000 0.000 0.000 0.000 4 0.000 0.000 0.000 1 1

The boundary file has 0 in the 9 and 10 column but value 2 is in 8 column. is that a problem?
