Hi
Take care about the launcher you use!
As I know, systel*.cfg are scripts for python.
tm_info is a part of perl scripts...

So you probably have a bad configuration ...

Which version of Telemac did you use? binary, sources ...

Christophe

I'm trying to install the V6P1 version of telemac, keeping the other versions on my computer.

To execute telemac, I have a created a script ".bat" in which I initialize the path ans the variable SYSTELCFG.

Before runing "cfgmak", I can verify that this variable is correct.
After ruuning "cfgmak", I have the message "Mise a jour du fichier 'C:\TELEMAC\V6P1\wing95s\config\cfgmak.mak' terminee."

However, when I execute Telemac, I have still this message :
"FATAL : Module <tm_info> inaccessible.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at c:\telemac\V6P1\wing95s\bin/runtel.pl line
273."

Any thoughts ?

Hello,

This is typically the kind of message you get when several versions are involved. It could be that you have to change not only the variable SYSTELCFG, but also the paths that direct to the executable perl commands, you said you did it, but I suspect that somewhere a path is still pointing to the directory bin of your other telemac version, or the variables are not exported or something like this.

With best regards,

Hello,

Try re-installing your Perl, making sure there are no other version already installed. Then clean-up your PATHs of any reference to Perl but the one you have just installed.

Hope this helps,
Sebastien.

Hello,

This error occurs when the address of perl is not properly given in the file systel.ini, or if you did not do the command cfgmak, or if two different installation of perl are competing. the module tm_info is in the directory bin of the Telemac installation, where all the commands like telemac2d are.
