open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi,

I am trying to install Telemac and am not having much success, I manage to download the files into my C drive, however the mumpsmpi sub directory is not present in the Telemac directory. When I go to compile, it takes a matter of seconds (which seems way to fast) and then displays the message 'My work is done'.

Does anyone know where I am going wrong, any help would be much appreciated.

The mumpsmpi folder is not needed at this stage. Have you set your windows environmental variables correctly? Are your telemac paths in accordance with your configuration file? Can you post your systel.cfg along with a text console redirection output of your compilation?

As far as I know the paths are correct, here is the systel.cfg, cmd window compilation output to follow...

Its odd that now when I go to compile I get the following message in the cmd window:

' complieTELEMAC.py]' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Which directory am I supposed to be in when I go to compile?

Put your python installation and telemac config folders in you Windows PATH environmental variable so that you don't need be in the specific folder to execute.

Also try changing the version from v6p2r1 to v6p2 in your systel.cfg.

Ok, so I have put python onto my path and tried to compile again, it doesn't work unfortunately, U have attached the cmd window response...
