open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi all,

I finally succeeded to simulate in parallel mode by adding -locaonly in the line " mpi_cmdexec: c:\opentelemac\mpi\bin\mpiexec.exe -localonly -wdir <wdir> -n <ncsize> <exename> " of my systel.cfg file.
(I think that order to parallelize on the local machine only).

I tried only my own cases, I'll let you know about the validation cases.

The program fails during the gathering phase.
There should be a gretel_T3DRES.log in the temporary folder.
Could you post it here?

In your temporary folder there should be as many T3DRES file as you had processors.
Could you check your T3DRES00... files individualy.
I do not know what you are using to visualise your mesh but just open them with it.
Could you post the log of the whole run of telemac.

I use BlueKenue (or fudaa-prepo) and I can visualise my T3DRES00... files individualy but the displayed area is not full???

That's normal each T3DRES00.. is only a partition of the whole mesh.
And it is gretel's job to merge them.
I do not known if you can do that with BlueKenue or fudaa.
But if you open all the files in them and ahve them overlap each other you should get the full area.
How many processors are running your case with?

4 processors!!!

And what is the size of each result file?
