I think I recompiled as you suggested.
Strangely, the Dos Window closed unexpectedly during compilation.

I tried to run the case, but I got this error message:

That DOS command closing while compiling the sytem is really strange...

Would you run the compilation once again and store the screen output in a text file, using the following command :

Please attach the text file in your next reply, so I can try to figure out where the problem comes from.

Some remarks:

1) I could sse the whole Dos Windows (see attached file). This time the window did not close. I guess I have a PATH problem.

2) The other attached file was creeated according to your request. It contains less information.

It looks like you have already compiled the system, but with a different compiler ... I don't really get what is the problem.

So, what I would suggest now would be:

1. Desinstall TELEMAC (you should have the application in your directory C:\opentelemac-mascaret\).

2. Delete the folder 'validation'

3. Run again the automatic installer.

4. Checkout once again the validation folder

5. Run the test case with the following command

I am sorry, it sounds a bit fastidious, but I don't know what else to do ...

I was so excited to see the installer! But something went wrong.

I think I have a problem with SVN. The attached screenshot shows an error message that appears when the installer is trying to download Telemac-Mascaret files from the server. Nothing gets copied into the v6p2 directory, and the installer closes. I also have problems trying to link to the SVN site with TortoiseSVN.

Can you please advise on what I may be doing wrong?

I trust Telemac installed elsewhere on the computer isn't a problem?? I am running v6p2 with PERL in scalar mode, and though the installer would be an easier way to go parallel (as well as update myself to the Python version).

I got the same error except that the .exe was in uppercase in my message.
However I manage to get the svn checkout to work when i launch it manually from dos with.
But the installer is still try to download it so it's blocked.

Thanks Yugi. doing the checkout manually was a good suggestion. But I get a similar error when trying a SVN checkout in the DOS command:

svn: E175002: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'svn.opentelemac.org.....

For the Forum: I may have a company firewall issue with SVN. Is it possible to have the same files on the SVN server available for download on the website? Or are these the same ones that are currently there?

The .zip file available on the forum is not as up to date as what is available on SVN. So, I guess you will have to deal with your IT department to sort out your firewall issue...
