Hi everybody,
I try to run “Automatic installation: opentelemac-v6p3-windows”. I have successfully installed python2.7, python Libraries, subversion client, gfortran, mpich2 and metis libraries. But when I installed telemac-mascaret sources, I have this error:
warining!
Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly.
Error running cmd.exe/c compile TELEMAC.py –f
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg: program ended with an error exit code.

I opened the directory: C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\ and found the files of systel and sytel.parallel are marked with ? and others marked with√.
Have you got an idea to correct this problem?

I put my configs file.

Xiaona,

would you please open the shorcut 'TELEMAC v6p3' and run from that dos coammand the following command line:
compile TELEMAC.py –f
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg

Could you tell me what the error is ?

The result is

It means that 'compile'is not an internal or external command and not a program or batch file which can run.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

My Bad! the command line is the follwing :
compileTELEMAC.py –f
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg
The administrator has disabled public write access.

I have the exact same problem on a Win7 - 64bit machine.

I tried what Juliette suggested and I got the same message as Xiaona.

Any more help on this?

Achilleas,

Can you make sure you to do the instructions I have given in the post #10553. Make sure to enter the follwoing command as well:
compileTELEMAC.py –f
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg

i.e. no space between 'compile' and TELEMAC.py

Next, send me the error you get.

I have the same problem as you when I try to install the v6p3 on windows7 64b.
I followed what you propose, but another error appears. See attachments.

your problem comes from the compiler. Unfortunatly right now, I don't know the solution. I will try to investigate and get back to you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, can you run the following command and let le know what happens.
compileTELEMAC.py --clean

Thank you Juliette for the valuable help.

According to the message in the attached image, it must have worked.

However, the new versions do not appear in the drop-down menu in FUDAA when I'm trying to create a project...Any ideas on that?
