open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Good Day

I have succesfully installed the new version of Mascaret-Telemac v6p3 for Windows 7

Now, I don't know how to start the program through the command-line (e.g. to run an example which is contained in the installement).

Can someone help me or direct me to a manual?

I have tried on cmd in the folder C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\examples\telemac2d\bridge

>>runcode.py telemac2d -s t2d_bridge.cas

But it doesn't work.

Once again, the installation was somehow succesful (in the start-folder you can see the different programs including python 2.7)

it's strange. When i'm (in cmd) in the folder C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27 and try to run telemac2d.py
the following message is showing up:
the command "python" is either written wrongly oder it couldn't be found.

But obviously I typed in "telemac2d.py" and not "python". Is there maybe an error in my installation?

python C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27\telemac2d.py

thx for the response. When I enter this command it will run but it's saying that one cas-file is required. So how can I manage to make the link-up to the folder which my steering-module is in it?

Or should I copy all the elements runcode.py / python.exe /telemac2d.py etc. ... in the folder containing the steering file and geometry file?

Ok it requires the steering file

python C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27\telemac2d.py -s C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\examples\telemac2d\bridge\t2d_bridge.cas

This is the command with an absolute path to the python launcher and to the steering file... so it should work

But now I want to use the parallelized version of telemac2d. somehow it's using the version in \win7gfors (a notificaion came when I introduced number of processors in the steering file)

How can I make a link to the version in the folder \win64mpi?

I never tried the auto-installer and I think that it does not compile parallel configuration.

However if you made a manual compilation you may have a parallel version available.

If win64mpi is the name of your parallel configuration, you just have to add -c win64mpi at the end of your command line.

I used the auto-installer.
It's not working;it's suggesting that I should use win7gfors.

But the fact that the package win64mpi is installed, it should be compiled as well, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
