I deleted the folder v6p2 and tried running the command, but still I'm getting this error message.

If you used the latest version of the installer you should have two Telemac shortcuts created on your Desktop. Please, can you confirm?

I am not using the latest version. I am using the v6p2 installer as my system is 32 bit, and not 64 bit. Do you know which is the latest version for 32 bit operating system?

Thank you for your time.

And I am not getting any Telemac shortcuts created on my desktop. I just get the following error after running the opentelemac-v6p2-windows-installer.exe which I have attached. I want you to mind that I am using a 32 bit system and not 64 bit. Is this the problem?

Thank you for your time.

Ok.

After deleting the folder v6p2, can you run the following command in a DOS prompt command
svn co http://svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v6p2r1 "C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p2" --username ot-svn-public --password telemac1*

And send me the error you get

Thank you for your help. But unfortunately I got the exact same error. Maybe because I'm using a proxy server to connect to the internet. So I tried to download the source code of Telemac manually, as provided in the Downloads directory. After downloading the source code successfully, I went to Control Panel to set path for the environment variables and systel.cfg. Then I ran the command "compileTELEMAC.py". Then I installed Fudaa-Prepro and Blue Kenue and downloaded the examples folder from the download section. Now I want to run a test case so that I can know whether it is working fine or not. Can you help me with this? Or tell me where am I going wrong? I appreciate your help, Juliette.

I can help you but I am a bit confused...

You said you downloaded the source code and test cases successfully, right?

You said you ran compileTELEMAC.py? Was it a success?

Did you try to run a test case or example? Did it work?

Basically, I don't understand where is you error? Can you send a screenshot of your error?

Thanks
Juliette

Everything is fine. I just don't know how to run a test case. That is why I am not sure whether my Telemac-2d is working or not. Can you guide me step by step as to how to run a test case from the beginning? And I am not able to find the steering file also. What is its format? I have attached the screenshot of one of the test cases that I tried running. I am confused.

I don't really have time to guide you step by step. Sorry.

If you are using Fudaa, you should ask questions in the Forum section dedicated for that GUI.

I would also suggest you to read the user manual (attached). More document can be downloaded from the Download section

Cheers
