Hello,

After succesfully install opentelemac v6p3 with automatic installer on 2 computers,
I have an error (see attachements) with a third one during compilation stage.
The workstation work with windows 7 64 bits

pre-required softwares installation and source download are succesfull.

more precisely the compilation stop with this error,
when the following command is executed :

compileTelemac.py -f c:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg

I have this error with collect2.exe (see "compilation error.txt" attachment) :

C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\builds\win7gfors\lib\utils\bief\homere_tomawac.lib: 
could not read symbols: Archive has no index; run ranlib to add one
collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Hello,

It looks like your either your gfortran did not install properly (did you have a gfortran compiler on the same computer before?) or that the compilation got corrupted at some point. If everything has been installed but the compilation, you can try the compilation by hand from the DOS command windows icons created, with --clean option:
compileTELEMAC.py --clean

If the TELEMAC DOS command icons have not been created yet, do uninstall everything in full and re-install.

mongodin OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 4	Hello, You put me on the right way. I had an old binutils tools from a c compiler in Windows path. Removing the path from Windows environment resolve my problem Thank you for you help. Tanguy.
