Hi there,

I just downloaded and installed telemac. I've tried to run an example, but I get:

READ CONFIG : FICHIER CONFIG NON TROUVE : CONFIG
VALEURS PAR DEFAUT DE LU ET LNG : 0 ET 0
...
CHOIX DE LA LANGUE = 0 INVALIDE
ARRET DE DAMOCLES
STOP ERREUR DAMOCLES 1

Any idea to solve that issue?

Thanks!

In the TELEMAC v6p3 command line windows installed on my computer with the rest of the telemac files, I wrote telemac2d c:\...\MyCASFile.cas

Try putting yourself where your MyCASFile.cas is, and then run telemac2d.py -s MyCASFile.cas.

Note that you should not have space in the path of your directory where your MyCASFile.cas is.

Hope this helps,
Sébastien

OK! It worked! Thanks!

Could you help me understand what was the problem? What is the difference between "Telemac2d c:\...\MyCASFile.cas" and "Telemac2d.py c:\...\MyCASFile.cas"?

On windows system, telemac2d would in fact be equivalent to telemac2d.bat which in turn assumes the Perl version of the system. This is not something we recommend nowadays.

telemac2d.py would call the python interpreter.

Also the file telemac2d.py is in a different place than the telemac2d.bat file.

Hope this helps,
Sébastien.
