open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Good day,

Recently I installed TELEMAC V6P3, but since I don't have enough time to completely learn new software, I was told by my Supervisor to revert back to TELEMAC v5P9 as i used before.

But i encounter this error when I want to launch TELEMAC2D in command prompt.

"FATAL : Module <tm_info> inaccessible.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at c:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin/runtel.pl line 269."

Anyone experience this before? I need your help cause I'm runnng out of time.

As you switch back to a previous version, did you check environment variable?
It look likes a problem of PATH definition (a reference to bin directory missing?)

Actually I've changed the environment variable of the PATH, which is as below;

"c:\TELEMAC\V5P9\bin;c:\TELEMAC\V5P9\perl\bin"

Is there anything wrong here?

Probably not
Did you execute the install perl script?
check also the SYSTELCFG value (by typing set in the DOS command)

In your TELEMAC installation, you should have a subdirectory INSTALL\win in which you should find a install_systel.bat file
Execute it and try again
