I have a problem.

Installing Windows 8 Telemac in me came a warning: anyone of you can help me

Script stderr:

Error running C:\opentelemac-mascaret\code-v6p3-windows-installer.exe : Program ended with an error exit code

Hi,

the automatic installer is only for windows 7.

Can you tell me at what step the installer failed?

It's a problem at the end, when the installer try to run svn to copy the source code.

Then, it apper the error that Luis1810 said:

My Windows 8 system is in spanish, that's why you can see text in spanish at the end.

I think, there are some inconsistencies between the installer and the instructions. The instructions set to create a directory like c:\opentelemac and the windows automatic installer create a directory, by default named: C:\opentelemac-mascaret

Also, a file systel.cfg is created in this C:\opentelemac-mascaret, but the installer is looking for in C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\

I know that jparisi said that the automatic installer is only for windows 7, but this errors seems to be not related with the version of the Windows OS.

Hi Ovel,

The inconsistencies you are talking about are actually not inconsistencies.

First, the installer creates C:\opentelemac-mascaret and always refers to it.
Next, it is true systel.cfg is created in this C:\opentelemac-mascaret. It is actually extracted there by the installer to be edited and moved to C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\ later.

In the end, I am unsure you used the latest version of the installer. So suggest you download it from there:

Re-run it, and let me know how it goes. Try to take a screenshot of your error.

Hello,

I have the same issue trying to install TELEMAC. The first half of the installation successfully completed, but TELEMAC v6p3 would not download and install. When executing code-v6p3-windows-installer.exe, I get the following error message:


So I added the system paths and downloaded the source myself. Now when running "compileTELEMAC.py" from the python27 directory, I get the following message:


Could it be that there is a file missing in the repository? And when changing it to say windows7, then I get the following:

GOT IT WORKING!

Changed the line in systel.cis-windows7.cfg file:

root: C:\opentelemac\trunk

to
root: C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3

I did all what you said but still I have the problem, when running telemac2d.py it said problem in config, pls help?

I can install up when I choose the version v7p0 and I get the error attached photo. Can someone help me out? I have the Windows 8.1
