It is possible to do so. However, the only (to the best of my knowledge) issue you would have to overcome is the METIS library. If you plan to use gcc compilers, only a 64bit version is available on the site.
However, I have managed to compile METIS 5.1.0 myself for 64bit and it seems to be working. So I suppose it won't be that difficult to compile it for 32bit as well.
