Thank you Juliette

I've downloaded the Automatic installer "opentelemac-v6p3-windows Version: v6p3."
However when i tried to install it on my 32-bit Computer, it says "only for 64 bit" This is why I installed the 32 bit version (v6p2 Telemac version). Do i need to have a 64 bit PC to correctly install Telemac and how can I know that'is well installed? Can you provide me please with a screen print of the various files that I must have after installing this software and a printed window screen that appears when you launch the software. I will be very grateful.

Indeed, you can't use the installer with 64bits. As your v6p2 installation failed, you may need to install Telemac manually following instructions there:

www.opentelemac.org/index.php/documentat...rocedure-with-python

After finishing the installation process, you should be able to find the files on the screenshot attached in the C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3 directory.

when running an example you should see what Dmytro showed in one of his posts. When the computation is successful you should have the message "my work is done" written at the end.

Hi,

Yes this is what happens when you compile Telemac. You should have "my work is done" at the end if the compilation was a success.

hello,

I need your help again please  . I just installed Telemac on my computer (Windows 8.1 64-bit) , I found all the files that you told me about. But I still can not simulate examples to verify that Telemac is well installed on my pc :( Can you please share your experience with me and tell me how can i do it, knowing that I tried to type the name of the file (** .cas) in the telemac v6p3 window but I still have the same message " is not recognised as internal or external command year , operable program or batch file"

Thank you

The command to type in the terminal to run a telemac2d cas is:
telemac2d.py t2d_break.cas

Hope it helps.

Thank you Yugi, it works but it ends with this message: "Warning: Your operating system does not allow me to remove a directory
My work is done"

is this normal?

Thank you again
