Hi, I have some problems in the process of installing the telemac v6p3 on my win7 system, especially the parallel ones, I tried both gfortran and ifort, but neither of them would work, would someone help me to find out where the problems lies? Thanks in advance.

detailed information are described as belows:
platform: windows 7 - 32bit
telemac version: v6p3r2
installed environment:
gcc-4.8.1-32.exe
python-2.7.6.msi
mpich2-1.3-win-ia32.msi (this only used for gfortran)
ifort-v11.0.06
I've downloaded compiled_windows-intelfort110-mpi-32b.zip from opentelemac forum, and linked related files to the metis and mpi library there.
I've tried three configs: 1).win7-gfor-mpi 2).win7-ifort-one 3).win-ifort-mpi
for 1),the problem showed in figure 1.(B.T.W, I don't konw how to output the compile infomation to text file, so I use sceernsnap instead)

for 2), compilation could finished, and the examples can be run, but there would be many warnings during compilation (see figure 2 and figure 3), I want to know the reasons for warnings and how should I fix these warnings?

for 3), compilation stopped by errors, details in figure 4.

P.S., I also tried the prepared package metis 5.0.2 and compiled one version of metis 5.1.0 under centos 6.4, but also they didn't work); and the version ifort XE.2011.2.221 has been tested without success.

Also, the configure file was put here, you see I used the full path for ifort.exe etc., because the system prompt it cannot find ifort.exe (but I have set related ifort lib/include path in the environment variable 'path', I just don't konw why)

Dear Viola,

Regarding command prompt output redirection, look here:
How To Redirect Command Output to a File

Regarding gfortran installation, I suspect the problem lies with libmetis.a If it is the version posted on the download area, it is 64bit version and thus will not work with a 32bit installation. I don't know if there exists a 32bit metis library for gfortran and thus gfortran is applicable only for 64bit.

Costas

Dear Costas,

Thank u very much for your quick reply!
I'll try out if it is the problem of metislib.a in a 64bit win7 platform.
