open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everybody!

I need some explanation regarding the MPI. I have installed telemac-mascaret on my personal computer (I using windows 8). I have tried one test case and all seems ok . I have followed the installation guide from the telemac website. The command mpiexec seems to be recognized.

but my knowledge is limited. Any of you can explain me how run a simulation with the MPI ?

If everything in the installation is OK, you need just tu indicate the number of processors you want to use.
You can do that with the keyword PARALLEL PROCESSORS = xx
or when lunching (Python version) telemac2d.py --ncsize=xx
Everything is well explained un the user manual, so try to use it more often.

Sorry for the intrusion from the Linux side of the world. I am interested in this topic and had to wonder where I can find the manuals.

As possible sources I have made note of

• the wiki -- that doesn't currently work (notice posted);
• the page www.opentelemac.org/index.php/training-and-tutorials -- that contains not more than the URL it says;
• the search bar in the website -- that does not return any useful link (as far as I saw) and for 'manual pdf' returns 'No Results Found';
  
• the documentation sub-folder in the TELEMAC tree that only contains the tex files -- that do not compile owing to a missing style file, on which I will report separately

Could someone point me in the direction of an accessible documentation?
