This message indicate that you have a problem with your path when you execute the compilation
With the intel compiler, there is some windows command which are available in the start menu. When you use them, there is some scripts which are executed to configure some environment parameters (like the PATH)

It depends where you installed it!

Look in your start menu, in the Intel Compiler group, you should have a sub-group Command prompt.

We had used the Automatic windows installer and faced an error towards the end when downloading the source code from svn. So went ahead with the manual procedure of downloading from svn and compilation using the python.(wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=instruc...tomatic_installation)

Had a search for 'ifort.exe' throughout the system and could not find it. As the automatic installer installed all of the pre-requisites, Could you please help in providing a guideline on identifying what is to be done next to complete a successful compilation.

The automatic installer should install gfortran compiler.
Ifort is the compiler of the intel fortran compiler which is another solution for compiling telemac. But Intel compiler is not free!

As you used the automatic installer, check that gfortran has been well installed and change the configuration file in order to use a configuration with gfortran
