hi

my system is 32 bit win7... i really need to simulate oil transport, i downloaded automatic installer v6p2 (latest version for 32 bit windows) ... and installation completed ... no error ... ok now what?!! where is the telemac?


how could i use that?

Hello,

If you are a beginner with no version yet installed, you should install the latest version which is 7.1. You should also carefully read the instructions and prerequisite for installation, e.g. the need of a compiler, Python or Perl, etc. Telemac is not a simple executable file for Windows, it is able to work on Linux also, so you have to configure a bit and compile before using it.
I must add also that starting directly with oilspills is a difficult thing to do, you should get used before with simple examples involving only hydrodynamics, to understand the basics ins and outs of the software.

thanks a lot... and sorry about my english.... in fact i just need all results of the oil spill model, exactly Cedric Goeury's model (lagrangian/eulerian)...

i saw that there is a sample about "A Lagrangian/Eulerian oil spill model for continental waters" paper. how could i have all results and initial data?
could you help me?
