Hi.
Can anybody recommend one or two articles regarding the parallelisation of Telemac-3D, particularly with regard to the structure of the structure and strategy for exchanging data between partitions? I am also interested in the largest MPI simulations with the this code performed to date, both in terms of element size and maximum number of MPI processes used. Thank you for any suggestion, Sergio

Hello
You will find a complete description of parallel command in the guide for programming and in the book of Jean Michel Hervouet.
Moreover, the largest case, as far as I know, if the Malpasset test case with 200M of nodes performed with the Daresbury clusters (See paper of Moulinec et al.)
If you want to read more about the parallelisation of Telemac-3d, you can also read this
I hope that this helps

Dear RiadhATA
thank you for your answer.
I will look up the book.
The paper you quote, however, refers to Telemac-2D, it seems.
So far, the largest application of Telemac-3D
is in a paper of Moulinec et al. in Computers and Fluids, 2011,
and it uses 12 million elements.
Regards
Sergio

Hello Sergio
The largest mesh used by Moulinec et al. is actually 200M for Malpasset case with Telemac3D. He presented his results couple of years ago at the user club of Telemac. I'm not able to find his paper, but I'm rather sure about the information.
I will try to find the paper and send it back to you.
kind regards
Riadh
