Hi everyone,

I am using the version of v7p1r0, and try to use the keyword 'NUMBER OF FIRST TIME STEP FOR GRAPHIC PRINTOUTS' in Telemac3d to make the result file smaller, but even though this keyword is setted with value greater than 0, the result file start from the ORIGINAL DATE OF TIME in computation. Have someone encounter similar problem? I am just worried if it's a very very small bug along with version.

Hi
This sounds logical and probably not a bug at least with the description you've made.
The original date and time is the date when the computation start (time = 0).
Maybe by default, the initial time step is saved (I'm not sure about this point)
If you ask for the number of first time step greater than 0, the results will start always at the original date and time but the time of the first result will be the number of the first time step, multiply by the time step (which gives you the time in second) and which is relative to the original date and time...
Hope this helps
regards
Christophe

Hi Christophe,
Thanks for the explaination, but I have to say that I am clear about the usage of this keyword as I had used for 2d case(using v7p0r1 version). I am just curiosity why it cann't be succeesfully used in telemac3d this time and don't konw where to fix it in the code as it seems read cas parameters by damocles. I tried to force the value of GRADEB in s.r. lecdon_telemac3d without succees. If you have any other advices, please tell me, thank you in advance.
