open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello,

I would like to extract all the horizontal planes of a TELEMAC3D selafin file.
(sigma planes), at each time step.

I have read some threads about POSTEL3D, but it seems that it extracts a specific level in meter and not a specific plane. Is it true ?

My final goal is to convert each plane to a regular grid (thanks to a python script i have found on this forum !)

Hi Vincent,

You can use Blue Kenue to extract individual layers from a 3d selafin file.
See "Tools->Extract Layer"

But in fact, i expect to do this extraction by using a script (in command line, in order to perform batch extraction)
