The algae particle tracking is discussed as a 2D module. The oilspill appears to be implemented in 3D as well. The streamline module appears to be both 2D and 3D.

I looked for examples but there are none in 3D?

Any info or examples appreciated.

Sorry for this late reply.

The Algae particle tracking is only available for 2D so far. The generalization to the 3D, even though straitforward, needs a non negligeable development effort.
