open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi, I am currently doing a project on coastal shore parallel breakwater, and I may need to get generating a cas file in order to run the simulation through the telemac for getting the numerical data. My site is mainly research on Suffolk coast, East England. Is that anyway or any data that I need for generating the cas file?

your query is not specific enough is it wave climate, sediment transport or hydrodynamics?

I would advise you to walk before you try and run and use the example projects to get an understanding of the telemac system and then modify in text editor the cas file from a suitable example for your specific application

Hi thanks for the reply. My research is about wave climate, to simulate how different tides like high tide or low tide may affect the breakwater system. I have go through the examples. Can I just ask which sample would be suitable for simulating tides?

Did you take the time to look at the list of examples available?
One of them is called TIDE!
As we didn't give random name to our examples, this one should probably cover this topic at least partially
