Hello everyone,

in the context of my master thesis I try to set up a 3D-model in Telemac.
At first the model should calculate several tides in a river without any tracers.

After simplifying the mesh and reducing elements by deleting of major parts of the area of investigation, Telemac still fails to calculate.
More precisely, Telemac starts the calculation but it doesn't iterate at all (maximum exceeding iterations).

Could anybody please help me to run the model?

Please see attachment for .cas-file.

Kind regards,
Calais10

Hello

We can not have a complete idea only with the steering file. However,, you can start with decreasing the time step or increase the accuracy of the solver to 10-5 for instance.
Don't forget, you are startinf with a cold start, thus the flow is not well established. Run the case with a small time step and then use the ontained result file as a restart file and then increase the time step.

I hope that this helps

with my best regards

Riadh
