open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,
I am Anh, a new user Telemac3D.
I am using Telemac3D to simulate the processes of salt stratification under influence of seasonal river discharge and tides. I have used serveal options for mesh transformation (1,2, and 3) but some case is good agreement for dry season but it does not really good for wetseason. In my case the estuary is salt wedge during the wetseason and it is partly stratification (or mixed) during the dryseason. When I used sigma meshtranformation give the good result calibration for the dry season but it is not good for the wetseason (underestimate salinity intrusion and the salt wegde is not clearly as in observed data). So I am thinking about using adaptive mesh redistribution (AMR) with keyword MESH TRANSFORMATION = 5. However, when I used this option the model did not work. Even I changed in SUBROUTINE MESH_TRANSF as below:
DO IPLAN = 1,NPLAN
TRANSF_PLANE%I(IPLAN)=5
ENDDO
Does anyone has used this type of mesh transformation, could you please show me how can solve this problem?

I am using the verison v7p3.

Can you provide more details please?

Did you look at the test case called "AMR"?

If you have other tracers than salinity, be aware that it's the first one which is considered to compute adaptive planes (hard-coded in calcot.f before the call to amr_plan).

I did not look at this before. I will see and try to run my model again and let you know later if I dont solve my problem.
