Dear all,

Is it not possible to extract 3d velocity at a given point in Blue Kenue? I tried but it couldn't be extracted as attached in the figure.

When I follow the same methods for t2d results, it is OK. So is there any other way that I can extract a time series of 3d velocity from Blue Kenue?

From the source code of 'pputils-master', it is possible but I am looking for a way in Blue Kenue.

Your idea is appreciated.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,
Saroj

Hi Saroj,

3D output files are viewed within BlueKenue's 2D view. You can extract velocity at different layers of your 3D result file.

Using "Tools->extract points", you can extract velocity from different layers on selected node(s).

You can also separate layers using "Tools->Extract layers". You can then extract velocity at that layer.

Kind regards.
