I have been working on Telemac-2D with no problem and I wanted to start running Telemac-3D
when I prepared my 3D files I used the same geometry file and Boundary file of 2D
However, whatever I do, it still gives me this message below

" |readCAS: ... could not find the following keyword in the selected dictionary file: ´╗┐ TITLE
| ~> you may not be running the code associated to your CAS file.

I attached the steering file

I will appreciate if anyone could help me with this problem

Hello, this error occurs when you try to launch a T3D cas file with a different code, e.g. running:
telemac2d.py Hyd3D_Emerge0.05.cas
instead of:
telemac3d.py Hyd3D_Emerge0.05.cas

Actually, I wrote "telemac3d.py Hyd3D_Emerge0.05.cas"
this is not the problem I think.

Hi,

what version of telemac are you using ?

The 'TITLE' error seems to be an encoding issues. Converting your file to plain UTF-8 solved it.
However, there remain other errors due to unknown keywords. But, I am using the trunk version and your steering file is older and the keywords have indeed changed.
If you change the encoding, maybe it will work on your installation.

when I remove the Title line it gives the error of the next line which is the steering file

I run the examples of 3D, I did not have any problem
therefore I used the steering file of one of the examples but with my files setup
in that case, the error changed to the following

"runCAS:
|readCAS: ... I am looking for an FLOAT but found an inapropriate value set for keyword: PRESCRIBED FLOWRATES"

Does anyone have any idea what causes this error

You have an error in the following line:

PRESCRIBED FLOWRATES = 0 ; 0.24.

The point at the end is confusing telemac

Removing it should solve your problem
