I used TELEMAC-2D to simulate the tide of bay in spain. The free surface and velocity UV are very close to the real value. thanks

But I try to use the same parameters to simulate in TELEMAC3D, including FRICTION COEFFICIENT, COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE TIDAL VELOCITIES etc. but result was not good.

Why is there a quite difference in output result between 2D and 3D? The velocity UV is quite LOW, in reality can reach 0.3m/s but in model just 0.03m/s.

I tried change some parameters and found that the COEFFICIENT TO CALIBRATE TIDAL VELOCITIES seems...not working in telemac3d. why?

I looking forword the answer and please help me out of this problem.
thanks

all regards
