It is well explained in the last-but-one post of Jean Michel that Nikuradze law does not behave like Chézy or Manning laws and thus there are differences between 2D and 3D implementations and thereby you should expect differences between 2D and 3D results.

I've read JMH last post but my question primary focussed on a another relation. So, whether there is another relation for Nikuradse or you just can "expect" differencees without knowing anything about the relation of friction between 2D and 3D?
