Greetings,

I was trying to include a tracer source in my domain using the keywords:

ABSCISSAE OF SOURCES
ORDINATES OF SOURCES

When in scalar mode, the model runs just fine. However, when trying to use the parallel version I got:

IN PARALLEL SOURCES OR SPECTRUM POINTS
MUST COINCIDE WITH
NODES IN THE MESH, FOR SOURCE 1 CHOOSE:
X=   405117.53125000000       Y=   6422682.0000000000

I am quite sure that the coordinates given in the steering file are correct.

Does anyone know what is causing this issue ?

Thanks

Caio

I am experiencing the same problem.

It works fine in serial but crashes in parallel with the following log:

 IN PARALLEL SOURCES OR SPECTRUM POINTS
 MUST COINCIDE WITH
 NODES IN THE MESH, FOR SOURCE 1 CHOOSE:
 X=   44442.000000000000       Y=   211864.00000000000

I have tested versions v6p3r2 and v7p0r0. I run most of the examples in parallel with no problem, but I have that problem as soon as sources are defined.

So, apparently, the problem disappears when I change the abscissa and ordinate values to the exact numbers suggested on the terminal.

Yes, exactly, this is a coordinate of a point in the mesh. Actually there is also a tolerance but with a very small value.

Hello,

In parallel, if we allow a tolerance, we may end up in a source linked to two different points, this is why we ask to have exactly the coordinates of a points in the mesh. So you just need to copy the coordinates that tells you the program, with all the digits, and it should work.
