Hi JONATHAN,

Thank you for your reply.

From the subroutine difsou.f i understood the calcul of the mass of tracer in KG. I had verified that for a particular value of tracer assigned at the steering file. So it's okay for me.

From wich i understand, in the simulation the mass of tracer was diluted in the domain, more precisely it's take the masse in KG and it's diluted in the volume m3, wich contourned the source point. Am i right in wich i say?

Another question and confirmation. Logicaly we can consider that for each time step a constant mass tracer, is released from the source point, i mean that this mass don't varie in time. Am i right?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Yasmina,

Your questions aren't very clear but from what I think you're asking:

1) There is no calculation of tracer 'mass' (kg) - think of the tracer value as being dimensionless

2) Once input into the domain this is, as you say, 'diluted' based on solution of the advection diffusion equation

3) A tracer value that varies in time may be specified using a source file. If it is specified in the configuration file (.cas) a constant value is prescribed

Jonathan
