open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi there!

I wonder exactly what information that is exchanged if I couple Telemac 3D with TOMAWAC and activate WAVE DRIVEN CURRENTS in T3D and CONSIDERATION OF A WIND and BINARY WINDS FILE = 'Res2D_v88-1.res'
WINDS FILE FORMAT = 3 in TOMAWAC.

Do I need to have a 2D file with wind to start with or can TOMAWAC get those results from T3D directly in the coupling?

How do I do with the f-files? Are these read both from T3D and from TOMAWAC or only from T3d?

Hello Charlotta,

For what I know:

* wind must be given on both sides... sorry.
* for Fortran files, they are concatenated, so you can have one on each side or put all subroutines on Telemac-3D side if it is more convenient.

Actually it didn't work when I had f-files both as input to the T3D cas-file and to the TOMAWAC cas-file, but when I put these together and put them only on the T3D-file it worked.

Here is the combinded f-file that I used. It was only LIMWAC that was connected to TOMAWAC before I combinded them. If that is any help for investigating the problem.

That is possible to have 2 fortran files one for tomawac and one for telemac3d but the script is going to compile the fortran only if the telemac3d fortran has been modified after the exe was created and will ignore the tomawac fortran, so if you have two fortran files it is better to delete the exe before you launch the python.
