Hello,

We are trying to install the TELEMAC suite in scalar mode on a cluster (Linux) using Intel Fortran compilers. The default compiler installed on the cluster is Intel v16.0.3.201. The compilation worked fine but for some reason the execution (with T2D case 'estu_gir' here) is always crashing with the following message :

We then did the same operation using an older version of Intel available on the cluster (v14.0.3.174), which was successful in both compiling and running.

Do you know why we are experiencing this failure with version 16.0.3.201 (also occurring with version 15.0.6.233)?

We would much like to use Intel v16 because loading Intel v14 is not appropriate for other applications that need to be run simultaneously.

c.coulet OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 3722 Thank you received: 1031	Hi Strange to have --convert in cmd_obj and only -convert in cmd_exe Otherwise a default option of the compiler changed between v14 and v16 regards

Indeed, the extra minus in "--convert" is a copy-paste mistake while preparing the post, and is not at the origin of our problem. This version of Telemac is v6p3. Do you think it is too "old" for Intel v16? There is nothing to do?... Thank you. JBS.

c.coulet OFFLINE Moderator Posts: 3722 Thank you received: 1031	Hi There is no particular reason to v6.3 to be too old for intel 16... Nevertheless, and as we don't ensure assistance for old version, it could be good to update it to version v7.1 regards

It is described in this post: www.opentelemac.org/index.php/kunena/12-...-15-on-cluster#16949 At that time the only solution for us was to downgrade to Intel 14. From Telemac version v7p1 Intel 15 and 16 work fine. Best regards, Clemens
