open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello users and moderators,
I've installed parallel V6P3 On linux without any problem and want to upgrade to the the latest OPENTELEMAC version (V7P1). However I cannot compile MUMPS !!! is it possible to compile TELEMAC without NUMPS?
Any kind of help will be aappreciated.

I forgot to point out that I need only telemac2d in parallel mode. If MUMPS is not necessary then think you possible compiling telemac without mumps?

Mumps is not mandatory to compile Telemac...
It's just needed if you plan to use solver = 9

There is nothing particular to do except maybe check you don't have the potion -DHAVE-MUMPS in your config file

Yes I've already removed -dhave_mumps and ran a simple example with 10 cores but I don't understand why still got partel error.

Partel has no link with mumps so this means there is another problem
You should give us more inforamtion about the partel problem

Please Mr Coulet, you find in the attached the information you asked for.
cas1_parallele.txt → steering file
run-telemac2d.sh → a bash linux file to run simulation in parallel mode.
sortie_cas1.pdf → The error.
systel.cfg → configuration file.
I've already succesfully ran this simple case on V6P3 without any problem.

After seeing your configuration, because scalapack is one of stuff for MUMPS. If you failed to compile MUMPS and you have excluded in your configurations, so could you try to remove the following:

-L/usr/lib64 /shared/tools/scalapack/scalapack-2.0.2/libscalapack.a /usr/lib64/libblas.a

So I think you just want to run MPI, now you just need to include the file libmpi.so:

libs_all: /softs/openmpi/1.8.1/lib/libmpi.so
