Telemac2d.py 'command not found' error on ubuntu 6 years 9 months ago #28850

Hi,
I tried to run Telemac on Ubuntu and was able to compile the source code following the instructions. However, when I run "telemac.py" in the same terminal after compilation, it worked. But when I try to run "telemac2d.py" from examples directory, it does not work. And returns "command not found" error. Do I need to configure something in order to run this from any directory?

Hi,

Which instructions did you follow ?
It looks like you are missing the parth to the Python scripts in your PATH evnironment variable and/or you are missing execution rights on the python scripts.

Hope it helps

I followed instructions from wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=installation_on_linux
How do I set path of python scripts in PATH Environment?

In the section:
wiki.opentelemac.org/doku.php?id=install...ing_your_environment

Everything is explained.
If you have done that part check that the path are correct.
