open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,

I have just installed the v6p1. When I try to run telemac2d, I have the following error message:

"FATAL : Module <tm_info> inaccessible.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/huybrec/Telemac_v6p1/bin/runtel.pl line 273."

Would you have an idea how to solve this?

Otherwise when I tried to compile all the system, I received strange messages saying that the sources are not found (see below). So, I compiled step by step. Can it be linked to the first problem?

Hello Nicolas,

This is generally due to a problem of installation of perl, or of path to perl or the bin directory. tm_info is in the bin directory. Think of doing the command cfgmak in the directory where your file systel.ini is.

Thank you Jean Michel for your answer.

In fact when I run cfgmak, the file cfgmak.mak is not created.
I have typed the command in the folder where the systel.ini is.

when I type, "type cfgmak" the path is correct.
when I type, which perl or which telemac2d the paths are correct too.

I have tried to use the cfgmak from the v6p0 (replacing what should be replaced) but then the makeall90 can not find the location of the source.

It is strange because it was working well with the v6p0.

Hi Nico,
if the problem persists, try with this:
1) go to the systel.ini directory
2) open a terminal
3) from the command line, write: fromdos systel.ini
4) if fromdos is not installed, install it with sudo apt-get install fromdos
5) try makeall90
