Hello,

I hope there is somebody out there with the same problem and this already solved.

We use telemac Version 6.1 with openmpi and Metis (4.0.1).
telemac2d – with and without mpi = works
telemac3d – without mpi = works
telemac3d – with mpi = not

I tried the example 001_canal:

sh: line 1: 17255 Segmentation fault  /opt/telemac/parallel/parallel_v6p1/gFortran/partel <partel.par >>partel.log
## Error : System command failed for /var/tmp/001_canal/t3d_canal.cas17244_tmp/telemac3d.bat :256

Any hind?

jmhervouet	Hello, A new version of partel.f has been posted somewhere on this forum (under telemac-3d subjects ?) and should now be in the parallel library but just in case not I sent it also on your E-mail. With best regards, Jean-Michel Hervouet

Hello Jean-Michel,

now I had replaced the 'old' partel.f with the new one you had send me and recompiled telemac.

But the error is nearly the same:

The cas error log shows:

Partel error: 
Partitioning into 2 subdomains with files: 
T3DREF 
T3DCLI 
 
returns with error code 35584 
Probably corrupt input files.

Did I overlook something?

The parallel stuff under is not automatically compiled / recompiled so: cd $TELEMAC cd parallel/parallel_v6p1/sources/ maktel install cd $TELEMAC makeall90 makepar90 Merci pour l'aide rapide et bon!* Sincèrement, Ralf *Automatic translation - sorry I don't speek French.
