Well, this is all about MPI...

Try "ldd out...intel_64_10.exe". It will inform you on the external libraries linked to your executable. Then focuse on the MPI's library and verify that the one given by ldd refers to the expected one (MPICH1). And adding /usr/local/mpich1.2.6/lib to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable may help.

You may have also mixed OpenMPI & MPICH1 when compiling/running TELEMAC (libmpi_f90 does'nt belong to OpenMPI? & how did you manage to compile PARALLEL without MPI2 support?)
