Hi,

We have installed the pre-compiled version in a computer cluster runing with linux.

When I have tried to run a model, I got an error message (in attached text file).

I have also attached the steering, bc, selafin and fortran files for the simulation, but I have run these files before on a windows based computer, so they shouldn't give any problems.

What type of cluster are using?
Which pre-compiled version did you used?
How do you normaly run an executable on your cluster?

Apologies for my mistake, we are not trying to run telemac in a cluster or MPI, only on a single machine. I forwarded your questions to IT department. Here are their responses:

"This machine is running Scientific Linux 6.3, which is a rebadged RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.3.

We're not using a precompiled version any more. We were, but problems
with paths etc. made me move to a version that was compiled from source
on the machine we're running it on

There's no cluster software such as Condor or GridEngine involved; the
software is just being run directly from the command line."

In addition, please find attached the error message I got when I tried to run the program in the machine we are trying to install telemac at.

As you can see in your error message you are missing a key word.

USING STREAMLINE VERSION 6.2 FOR CHARACTERISTICS
PROSOU : IN CARTESIAN COORDINATES, THE CORIOLIS
PARAMETER IS READ IN THE STEERING FILE
IT IS THE KEY WORD 'CORIOLIS
COEFFICIENT', IT IS UNIFORM IN SPACE
DRAGFO: AREA OF ZONE EQUAL TO ZERO

You need to set the CORIOLIS COEFFICIENT in the steering file.

Hello,

Actually on Coriolis it is only a warning message, the real error is that one zone in dragfo has an area equak to 0, this has probably something to see with a user defined zone.

There was a problem with the dragfo, I kept on TRUE the vertical structures keyword although I was not defining any area for the dragfo subroutine. I changed that and it worked.
