Hi, all of telemac developer and user.
I have a question about your environment of telemac.
There are two hard drive in my computer.
so When I use telemac in window,
I installed telemac in hard drive including OS.
and save cas, boundary, res file at another hard drive.
It allows me to use another hard drive excluding OS.

but when I use telemac in linux,
It doesn't work.
just when I use same hard drive including OS,
It can be done.

I set permission, that means I can write and read.
but just telemac didn't work.

Is there anyone who use telemac in linux by using another hard drive?
I mean compute using hard drive that has OS
and upload & save file using another hard drive.

Hi

I'm not sure to well understand what you described...
You have two different OS in your computer (windows and linux), am I right?
On windows, you could install telemac on one disk and use it on another disk but this doesn't work on linux.

That's really strange because the installation of telemac is driven by the configuration file (where the location is described). When you run telemac, the execution (temporary directory and files) take place on the directory from where you run. And there is no reason for being in the same hard drive...

Maybe you could share your configuration file and some screenshots of the error message...

regards
Christophe

Thank C.coulet for your quick reply.
I attach a drawing to understand easily.
Arrow means also 'compute'

Could you give me some advice?
I want to use D: drive to compute telemac in linux like windows.

regards

Ok for the clarification but what is the error message?
And also what is the configuration file you use for windows and for linux...
