Dear all,

I am a beginner in SISYPHE.

if i need to set the bed load boundary condition at the inlet as equilibrium inlet conditions, do I just need to change the Keyword "EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION = YES" in steering file.

Many thanks!

Best wishes,

Ji

Dear Li,
No, EQUILIBRIUM INFLOW CONCENTRATION is used only for suspended sediment transport.
For bedload, please take a look to the latest version of the User's Manual v7p2.

Best wishes,

Pablo

Dear Pablo,

Many thanks for your reply. But where can I download the User's Manual v7p2? I only found the manual V6p3 for SISYPHE in the download area.

Best wishes,

Ji

Hi Ji,
It's available in the trunk. It'll be available in pdf in the next few days I think.
Please let me know.

Cheers,

Pablo

Hi Pablo,

Many thanks for your quick reply.

Can you send me this manual to me in advance?

Or can you tell me how to solve my problem. More specifically, I need to set the inflow bed load rate at inlet to be equal to the capacity bed load sediment transport rate (qb, based on the chosen formula), which is actually related to the discharge and particle size. However, currently, I found that the solid inflow discharge can be only set to be constant or vary with time.

Best wishes,

Ji

Hi Pablo,

I just found a short tutorial (see attached) which you uploaded previously. At the end of this page, it mentioned that "The same boundary file can be used to specify the time varying concentration and flow rate, for the Telemac-2d simulation and for Sisyphe". Acoordingly, my understanding is that I can specify the inflow bed load concentration in the liquid boundary file. Am i right?

Many thanks.

Best wishes,
JI
