Hi,
I still use SEDI-3D (for 3D) and SISYPHE (for 2D). I've got some questions about GAIA and especially cohesive sediment.
It is possible to have multiple cohesive layers characterized by :
  • Critical shear stress [Pa]
  • Thickness [m]
  • Concentration [kg.m3]
  • Partheniades coefficient

Bonus question : it is possible to have both vertical and horizontal variation of cohesive sediment in GAIA ?

Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
P.N.

Hello,
Yes, in Gaia it's possible to have a vertical variation of those parameters along the vertical direction (by layers).
The spatial distribution is a bit tricky more, I think it can be possible with some subroutine modifications.
Cheers,
Pablo
