open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

We are trying to model sediment transport on the shore of Suriname. We have good hydrodynamics model and we tried to use chain method to run sisyphe.

But we can't get results. The program stoped after 1 time step. Attached are the error information and our steering file used in the case.

What is the reason for this problem and how to solve it?

I am not sure but it can be due to the fact that the keywords:

number of tides or floods

and:

tide period are commented out

Otherwise why don't you use a real coupling between telemac-2D and Sisyphe ?

We tried to run the case with sisyphe internal coupled but it didn't work.
Enclosed is the error information we got from the out put.

We looked into the code and find in the subroutine NOEROD, the line:

CALL OV( 'X=C ',ZR,ZF,ZF,-100.D0,NPOIN)

may cause the error. Because at certain points (ZF=-190m) the values of DIFF= (ZF(I)-ZR(I)) - ELAY(I) are negtive. How to fix this problem?

OK, yo ushould have reported it, -100 in noerod is just a very negative value to be sure that there would be no problem, it is strange that you have ZF = -190. So take subroutine noerod in your fortran file and put -1000 instead of -100 if you have no erodable bed and it will work.
