Hello,

Recently I checked our model and I found I made a stupid mistake for a long time. I used the same boundary conditions file for both Telemac-2D and Sisyphe. So in the Telemac-2D the code of boundary type for tracer is 5 (KENT) because we have salinity imposed at boundary but since I used the same file, the code of boundary type 5 (KENT) means “bottom evolution imposed to EBOR value at a liquid boundary”. Now I use a different boundary conditions file for Sisyphe and change the code 5 (KENT) to 4 (KSORT) , “free evolution at a liquid boundary”. This seems to be the type of boundary conditions we were looking for.

But I found another type of boundary condition called KNEU which has the value of 1. But I tried it and didn't work. I'm wondering what's the difference in this type of boundary condition compared to others?

Best regards,
Qilong

Hello,

Actually the user is asked for physical boundary conditions, like entrance KENT, exit KSORT and solid KLOG or KADH no slip condition, KINC incident wave (the latter obsolete). Then these conditions are translated into numerical conditions, like KDIR for Dirichlet, and KNEU for Neumann.
