Dear all,

I try to simulate a river branch in 2 cases which is before the dam building and after the dam building. of course the dam is build out of the compuation domain.

In the case of the beform dam building. the value of sediment in inlet is much higher than the case of the after the dam building because the dam will reduce the sediment into the river.

I am confuss about how to set in sisyphe to present the different of the two cases about sediment tranport.

Before the dam build, the river is equilibrium case. so the river bed will change will with both deposition and erossion.

after the dam build, I think it is still the equilibrim case, but the errosion effect will be domainate and the river bed will be reduced with time change.

In the codes setting, how to set the difference between these 2 cases.

Thans a lot

Hello, (very nice drawings !)

It is all in the inlet concentration.
You can have a look at the examples provided with TELEMAC, within examples\sisyphe. For instance bosse, or canal_solid_discharge_inflow.

Hope this helps,

Sébastien.

This has been more or less solved.

Thanks
