Hello,

I am a engineering student with little knowledge of Telemac.I need to install Telemac for my dissertation.

I have a copy of Fortran 6.0 although from the forums it looks like I won't need this. I have downloaded PERL, MPICH2 and Rubens.

Although I have little knowledge of computer language, I assume you need to compile the various programs through PERL. Is this so?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Emma Herbert

Hi Emma

There is no compilation required if you just use the default version of Telemac.
Perl is required to execute some scripts (which manage the Telemac execution).
All that I could said if you're not familiar with telemac is that you should have a look into the user manual to see how it works!

Christophe
