Hi, do you have any idea why I am getting this problem when running an example?
The compilation went well...I do not know why he is complaining that he is not finding geometry file when it is there in the folder...

Run the example from the directory of the example not from the directory which contain scripts

Sorry this might be silly but what command should I use to run the example?

I copied the telemac2d.py into the example folder and was trying to run like this...but I suspect I am doing something wrong...

If you have python associated with .py files in your path and environnent settings you can skip the python call:
telemac2d.py t2d_xxx.cas
or
runcode.py telemac2d t2d_xxx.cas

I manage to run it, e only had to copy all files from python folder into the example folder...

Create a shortcut to a command window and set the target in the properites to:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /E:ON /V:ON /K set SYSTELCFG=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p2r0\configs\systel_v8p2r0.cfg && PATH=C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v8p2r0\scripts\python3;!PATH!

Then you can run simulation from all folders.
