I have the same problem during installation process. Please help.

You're not supposed to use V8P1, it's an old and unsupported version. Please upgrade to V8P3R1.

Also, upgrade your Python version to Python 3.7, at least, since Python 2.7 is not supported anymore, and use compile_telemac.py to build Telemac.

How can I update V8P3R1?

You need to clone Telemac from its official Git repository: gitlab.pam-retd.fr/otm/telemac-mascaret and checkout the V8P3R1 tag.

I have trouble while updating python to V2.7 to V3. I'm not familiar with python programming and did not manage to add the following folders and files into my python3 folder.

Hi Alexandre,

What you are calling you "Python 3 folder" contains only shortcuts, it is not your Python 3 installation folder. To know where Python 3 is installed on your computer, you need to right click on the "Python 3.10 (64 bit)" shortcut and select "Properties".

Thank you for your answer that helps me great in solving this problem.
I'm facing now a problem to install numpy since telemac did not manage to find it.See See the error message attached so I will try to install it. Have you any advice to do it ?

I look to former post and did a research on my computer to see if numpy is installed. Thus, the module is yet on my computer but I did not really understand where I have to copy/paste it and which of the numpy folder also ? see picture below

Have a look here on how to install pyhton3 and numpy. Because numpy is missing in your installation.
